PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The goal of the operation is to establish unified cooperation among partners to improve the quality of event organization and increase the number of high-quality events through the implementation of necessary investments, training, and examples of best practices.
The purpose of the operation is reflected in the established partnership, which on the one hand covers the creation of demand and on the other hand the creation of supply. The first part of the project will create a product or service that will generate new content and events in Lendava and its wider surroundings, while also creating demand for services that can be performed by vulnerable target groups. And it is these individuals that we will train and educate as part of the second part of the project, within the framework of a social enterprise, where a team will be established that can offer high-quality services in the broader environment in the field of event organization, such as setting up and delivering tents, preparing venues, transporting benches, cleaning venues, etc.
Through newly created local services and educational activities, we will ensure sustainable development of the area and establish content that will continue after the operation is completed.
The approach is innovative and beneficial in multiple ways, from an environmental and social perspective, a tourist perspective, and also from the perspective of creating green jobs. It offers the potential for employment of people from vulnerable social groups and for the inclusion of unemployed people in the labor market, who can also be involved in the events themselves. The project is focused on the area of the municipalities of the Lendava administrative unit, but it is easy to transfer good practices to other areas, as the innovative partnership will be open to the inclusion of other organizations outside the area.
With this project, we are pursuing key indicators of the LAS program strategy in good people. We are including a larger number of municipalities in the operation where activities will be carried out, we expect at least two new jobs to be created, but at least five jobs will be created in the long term within the social enterprise, as this is a project with exceptional potential. Through mutual cooperation, a strong project partnership will be established, which will result in a new event organization service in the LAG area.
